It is our pleasure to announce the next International Conference on Magnetic Resonance in Food, which is to be held in Wageningen, from June 26 to 29, 2012. Within this edition of the conference we will have dedicated sessions on Structure and Function, Quality and Safety, FoodOmics and in-vivo MRI. A range of speakers have already confirmed their attendance.
This conference series is recognised as the principle forum dedicated to the Applications of Magnetic Resonance in Food Science. It is also seen as a great environment for networking and sharing views and experiences with Magnetic Resonance experts from academia and industry who are committed to the utilisation of MR tools to improve our understanding of food systems. It has a long tradition in presenting the latest technical innovations and their current and potential applications to the understanding of food materials, their processing and stability.
At the conference the many facets of foods applications of NMR and ESR are covered in a series of oral and poster presentations. The papers will be selected through a peer-reviewing process of the submitted abstracts. Selected scientists are invited to contribute to the conference proceedings which will be published as a hardcover book by the Royal Society of Chemistry. These proceedings have gained popularity as training material for young scientists entering the field of applied magnetic resonance in food science.
The conference is organized under auspices of the Groupement AMPERE. Members of the Groupement AMPERE are eligible for a discount of registration fee.
